Where can my dad and i go small game hunting with 2 Pellet guns in CA?

My dad and i have been wanting to go small game hunting we bought to pellet guns and would like to hunt birds, rabbits etc. We would like to know what we need any permits and what not and where. Both of you will need a hunters safety courses to get your hunting licenses. Hunting costs are based on fees or charges at the place your hunting some are free some have a daily access fee and the hunting license and what species your hunting. Small game is in the upland game category The Ca. department of fish and game has all the info you need

You can search for info on hunting with air rifles in California, or ask other hunters in your area where they go.



California is one of the more air rifle friendly(hunting) states.

What do you mean pellet? BB gun or airsoft? With BB guns, gotta be pretty small game dude. With airsoft, if you shoot an animal with it, it will roll over and laugh at you. well, you can probably go hunting in any backwoods areas, but you will need a hunters safety course and a licence after the class. plus a permit to hunt the animal if neededWhere can my dad and i go small game hunting with 2 Pellet guns in CA?
Go on the internet and find game land in your area if you have some woods on your land you can hunt on your own land with out haveing to have a license and dont lisen to the guy above me pellet guns work great for small game. good luck hunting!!!!
