Is the Benjamin Sheridan 392 cal any good for hunting small game and pest control?

Is the Benjamin Sheridan 392 .22 cal any good for hunting small game and pest control? Do I need more fps or is the capabilities of the Benjamin 392 suficient for my task? Would the 397 be a better choice? Is the Benjamin Sheridan 392 cal any good for hunting small game and pest control?
22 for fur

177 for feathers

no problem taking out pests at 15-20 meters. Because with small game with this limited power will require head shots I'd keep it to 10-15 meters.

both excellent shooters, American made and a good deal.
The Benjamin 392 or 397 are both accurate enough and powerful enough to take small game out to around 35 yards.

I would prefer the 397.

The muzzle energy for the 392* %26amp; 397** is nearly identical. IMO the advantage of the 397(.177) is the higher MV with the lighter pellet gives you a better trajectory(flat).

*The 392's that we chronographed were around 12.6 to 12.8ft-lbs

**The 397's were around 12.2 to 12.4ft-lbs

Among the other small game he takes on this hunt is a one shot kill on a rabbit at 44 yards. %26gt;The 397 is fully capable of taking small game out to around 35 yards%26lt;Is the Benjamin Sheridan 392 cal any good for hunting small game and pest control?
If you arfe hunting squirls and rabits, a .22 would be just fine. if your ganna hunt larger game, like turkey, your ganna need a 397.Is the Benjamin Sheridan 392 cal any good for hunting small game and pest control?
At short ranges, definitely.
