What is the best large game hunting rifle?

Me and a friend are planning on going on a month long hunting vacation and i would like to know what is the best large game hunting rifle. I already have a gun but i would like to find the best. What is the best large game hunting rifle?
BEST? Something along the lines of a $4500 GAP rifle in 300 WSM and a $3000 Premier Heritage scope.

M 14 or

Remmington 750
what exactly are you hunting, may i suggest 7mm, 8mm, or 300 win mag
The Marlin .45/70 lever action rifle. Or any 30.06 bolt action will kill anything on four or two legs.
Best? A BFG-9002. It's two better than a BFG-9000.

All sarcasm and joking aside, if you're planning on going on a month-long hunting vacation, you should already know the answer to this question. I would assume that the thousands of dollars you'll be spending are already in your bank account, no?

Now, if you really are going on a long hunting trip and you genuinely don't know what to get, let me give you some options:

1) A bolt-action .30-06, preferably a Savage 110 or Remington 700. Ammo is plentiful, with a good variety, and that firearm will take almost any game animal in North America.

2) A .300 Winchester Magnum has enough power to easily drop any game animal in North America, including bears, and can do so at very long ranges. It is, however, more expensive to feed than a .30-06, and ammo is harder to find. It also has more recoil, usually, and generally isn't suitable for close-range shots. The Savage 110 and Remington 700 are also good choices for this round.

3) If your shots are likely to be from a relatively short range, a .45-70 is a good, heavy-hitting round that is ideal in a lever-action gun such as a Marlin 1895.

There are other excellent guns and calibers, but these are three of the better guns available. If you're hunting moose or grizzly bear, though, you're going to want the .300 Win Mag. On the other hand, if you're hunting various animals, you are better off getting more than one gun. Since you obviously have enough money to go hunting for a month, you should be able to afford at least two guns.
Kimber Classic Select in .30-06 or .280 Ackley Improved.

Conetrol scope mounts and rings.

Swarovski Z6 2.5-15x44 scope.
* The Most Popular, and used Big Game Caliber all over the World is the 30-06.*
Where and what you are hunting would help determine what is the best for you. If there was any one best rifle for hunting large game, there would not have been over 500 different models produced over the years. There would have been about 20 until everyone determined that one of those was the best and then that would have been all that was sold.
