I need ideas of some games I could get for my fiance. He is really into games like Runescape, Diablo, Halo, and Call Of Duty...pretty much anything where there is a quest and a lot of battles.
He also likes hunting games, specifically ones that feature deer or other big game.
We do not own any gaming consoles, and he seems to prefer games he can play on his PC.
Can anyone give me some ideas, and maybe price the games you find for me, too?
Thank you!PC games like those I have listed that will work with Windows XP?
Gears of War and Orange Box are great, these are great First person shooters + in Orange Box you get like 5 games for the price of one (great deal) Typically PC games are around $50!.......GOOD LUCK!PC games like those I have listed that will work with Windows XP?
PC games are a tough thing to shop for. You have to have a half way decent machine anymore. Find out the specs on his comp (The processor speed, the graphics card, ram and use that as a base for games)
I'd suggest World of Warcraft. Especially because it's a quest game, (it is pay to play monthly) but if you can afford to buy two subscriptions..you can't go wrong with playin together. It's always more fun to have a team mate, who better then the one you love? The only draw back, is people can get addicted to it, so you may need to find a way to regulate your time. I play it a lot, I've got friends who play with their boyfriends and girlfriends a lot..so it can be a real life eater..either way, it's fun.
He seems to be a fan of shooter style gaming. I dunno how well he handles quick paced action games (You could look into Crysis, or unreal tournament)
World of Warcraft would run you to about 60+ dollars for both games (with a third on the way at the end of the game) and the sub can be from 14.99 a month to (With a downed cost for all at once subscription) 74 dollars for 6 months (at a cost of 12.99)
The other games are of course new, so they'll be around 50+ dollars. The BEST thing to do is go on a website like amazon and try to find it all out that way. I believe they offer system requirements to play these games.
Assuming your fiance plays Call of Duty 4 on his PC, sounds like he already has a good system.
